Pancake Prints
Ink on paper
2012

The Pancake Prints series recontextualizes a stack of simple breakfast pancakes into a set of unique prints on paper. Prints are made by rolling printmaking ink over the food and pressing it onto paper. Crevices, grooves, butter lines, and pour-rings on the surface of each pancake expose the individuality and brief history of each object. Select pieces are mounted in custom handmade frames created specifically for each print.

The framed prints were shown at Williamsburg Art & Historical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2013.
